A broad range of summer enrichment programs are now open to school-age Cherry Hill residents. Summer enrichment classes at Cherry Hill High School East in drama, art, photography, graphic design, model rockets, knitting, chess and more are open to Cherry Hill residents entering grades 5-11. Summer music enrichment classes at Cherry Hill High School West in beginning band, beginning orchestra, intermediate band, intermediate orchestra and jazz ensemble are open to Cherry Hill residents entering grades 4-12. The Cherry Hill Public Schools Guidance Department offers three summer courses to high school students/residents preparing to write their college essay and take the PSAT, SAT and/or ACT exam. Sessions for each course run from July 31-August 3 and August 7-10, with morning, afternoon and evening hours available. Click the links below for details and registration forms for each course.

The New Jersey Alliance for Social, Emotional and Character Development (NJASECD) has named the Cherry Hill Public Schools a 2017 New Jersey District of Character. The District will maintain this status for three years, through 2019. The District will be honored at a recognition ceremony during the NJASECD Conference in May at Rider University. The District application now will be forwarded to character.org for consideration as a 2017 National District of Character.
Congratulations to District of Character Committee Chair Dr. Kirk Rickansrud and his team for a job well done in assembling the lengthy and detailed application to earn this prestigious designation.
