XVI. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
- As required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and New Jersey Administrative Code 6:41-1.1 et seq., it is the policy of the Cherry Hill School District not to discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, social or economic status, parenthood, marital status or handicap in its educational programs or activities and employment policies.
- Each Cherry Hill Public School has a copy of the “District Affirmative Action Plan” which describes in considerable detail the district's commitment to equal educational and employment opportunities.
- A grievance procedure for alleged violation(s) of Federal/State anti-discrimination legislation has also been established.
