Sally Tong was elected to the Board of Education in November 2018 and again in November 2021. A graduate of Stony Brook University, Mrs. Tong has been working in the healthcare field for more than 20 years. She operates an on-line weight management program.

Mrs. Tong is committed to serving the children and families of Cherry Hill. Prior to serving on the Board of Education, Mrs. Tong served on the Cherry Hill Fair Funding Committee and her children’s PTA. She is Vice President of Chinese American Women Sisterhood Society of Philadelphia and directs fundraising and public relations for Armed Forces Veterans. Mrs. Tong is also a member of the Asian American Women’s Coalition and the Kentucky Council.

Mrs. Tong and her husband have been residents of Cherry Hill for more than 20 years. They have four children.
