Quadsia Niaz was appointed to the Board in January 2024 to fill a one-year unexpired term. Mrs. Niaz holds a master’s degree in public administration and community development and works as a recruiter for the federal government. She is actively involved in MUHSEN, an organization that promotes systematic and societal inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. Mrs. Niaz also served as a human rights delegate at the United Nations, where she advocated for the rights of indigenous people, women, children and individuals with disabilities, equipping her with a global perspective on educational equity. A community organizer who is dedicated to advocating for our community’s underrepresented and marginalized populations, Mrs. Niaz is eager to contribute her skills and experiences to further enhance the educational landscape in our community, and to further the district’s framework of equity and inclusivity that benefits all students.
