Fall 2023 Project Status – November 2023

All Purpose Room Additions - Kingston, Barton, Sharp, Knight, Johnson and Mann

• The New APR Additions will include a regulation basketball court, a stage, storage, separate entrance to an office area and bathroom to support activities in this new ES specialized space.
• Playground replacements at Johnson, Kingston, Knight, and Mann are also included in this project (equipment to be purchased separately).
• Project is slated to begin in November 2023 after the BOE award to Newport Construction through a competitive bid process on October 17,2023. The new additions are scheduled and contracted to be substantially complete by March of 2025.
• Bid award - $25,191,877

Cherry Hill High School East Stadium Improvements

• Contract awarded to D’Andrea Construction through a competitive bid process on June 27, 2023
• Bid Award - $2,589,000
• Stadium Lighting has been delivered
• Existing field house/storage area to be demolished
• New bleachers expected February of 2024.
• Project is contracted to be substantially complete by March 14, 2023

HVAC Partial Replacement – High School West – D wing

• Using ESSER and SDA Grant Funds to offset cost of equipment and installation
• Work slated to begin over winter break.
