Registration/Payment

Each high school offers AP exams in accordance with the CollegeBoard schedule and calendar.Registration for AP exams takes place through AP Classroom and payment through Genesis Payschools.  Directions for using Payschools can be found HERE.  The registration and payment process takes place from the first week of October to the first week of November

Registrations after the first week of November incur a late fee of a monetary amount determined by the CollegeBoard. No late registrations will be accepted by the CollegeBoard after the first week of March.

Students may take an AP exam even if they are not enrolled in the course.  They must contact the AP coordinator by the first week or November to register and remit payment.

We cannot test students who are not currently enrolled in the Cherry Hill School District.  

A reduced exam fee is available for students eligible for free/reduced lunch or other financial hardships (consult AP coordinator).

 

Canceling an Exam/Absentee from Exams

Students may cancel an exam before the exam date by contacting the AP coordinator.  Canceling an exam before the exam may result in a partial refund as determined by the CollegeBoard.

If students do not take the exam for which they have registered on exam day, and have not previously contacted the AP coordinator to cancel they exam, they will forfeit the exam fee.

 

Late Testing Policy

Students scheduled for more than one exam on the same date and time will be provided a test during the late testing window.  If a student misses an exam due to illness, a doctor’s note is required to be eligible for a late exam.  Athletes are not eligible for a late exam for a regular season practice or game.  The AP Testing Schedule can be consulted for planning absences and sports commitments.  

 

Testing with Accommodations

Students seeking or planning to utilize testing accommodations for AP exams, must be approved for SSD ( Services for Students with Disabilities) accommodations through the CollegeBoard.  Students and parents should consult their school counselor and/or case manager to ensure all proper requests have been completed, submitted and approved by the CollegeBoard by mid January.
