Courses taken in middle school required for high school graduation appear on transcript but are not factored into GPA and do not count for credit.

Courses taken online or outside of Cherry Hill Public Schools do not factor into weighted or unweighted GPA.

Class rank is based on weighted GPA.  Official class rank will be available to students senior year.

Why does GPA Matter?

-Colleges will evaluate students  for admissions based on students’ cumulative GPAs at the end of 11th grade.  Therefore,  9th, 10th and 11th grade contribute to GPA and impact college admissions.

- Colleges evaluate  challenging courses that show student  success and mastery.
