Kindergarten and 1^st Grade Registration

(For children entering public or private school for the first time)

 

All documents due by March 27, 2026

 

If all required documentation is not received by the March 27, 2026 

deadline your child's placement will be delayed. 

 

Children must be five (5) years old on, or before, October 1, 2026, to be eligible for kindergarten. Students currently enrolled in district preschool programs, do not need to pre-register online.

 

Beginning December 1, 2025, please go to https://www.chclc.org/domain/981, to begin the online pre-registration process for the 2026-2027 school year. Detailed registration information and the pre-registration link can be found directly on the District website, www.chclc.org, or by calling (856) 429-5600, x4429.

 

Registration will take place online via the Genesis Portal. If you need assistance please make an appointment. All appointments will take place at:

between 9am and 2pm

 

Only the student’s legal guardian may register a student for school.

 

The online registration process will take approximately one hour to complete. Be sure to gather ALL required documentation for online registration. We want to make the process as convenient and efficient as possible so we ask that you do not bring children with you for registration appointments.
