Random Selection Process

Cherry Hill Public Schools will utilize a random selection process if the number of preschool registrations exceeds the number of available preschool seats. This process will be held to ensure equitable access for all registered families.

Timeline of Process

Families will receive preschool offer letters as they are randomly selected.

Once all available seats have been filled, a waitlist will be created. Families who do not receive an offer letter will instead receive a waitlist letter that includes your assigned waitlist number. As families decline their offers and/or move, we will continue to extend invitations by contacting the next family on the waitlist until all seats for the school year have been filled.

*Twins or Multiples: If one twin is randomly selected to attend the preschool program, the other twin will automatically be accepted into the program. This does not apply for all siblings, only twins and/or multiples.
