We have the BEST PTA!!
Dear Clara Barton Teachers and Staff,
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! There are not enough words to thank you for everything you do for our students during regular times, but especially now. We are so grateful for your effort, caring, encouragement, time, patience and LOVE. The Barton Community is so grateful for you and all that you do.
Please enjoy this video as an expression of our appreciation, put together by 5th grade parent Jaime Cream. We cannot wait until we are all back together again where we can celebrate you in person. Thank you for helping our kids be the best they can be. Please know how dearly you are missed.
With sincere gratitude,
The Barton Community

Student Voice
Each month Mr. Sweeney meets with a group of nominated students for what he refers to as an Eagle's Nest meeting. The primary focus of these meetings is to provide students the opportunity to have their voice heard specific to a school-related topic. Something new I'm trying this year is to extend the discussion beyond the Eagle's Nest and give all students at Barton the chance to be heard. Any Barton student can record a short video clip of themselves answering our monthly Eagle's Nest question.
