David Rossi is serving his first term on the Board of Education, having been elected in November 2018. Mr. Rossi is an Account Executive at Cort Furniture, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. He partners with supportive and transitional housing organizations, as well as other non-profit organizations that fight homelessness and foster independent living by providing high quality furniture.
Mr. Rossi’s advocacy and volunteer work in South Jersey and Philadelphia includes sitting on advisory boards, planning committees and participating in focus groups for a number of non-profit organizations in the region.
Mr. Rossi is committed to bringing his professional and volunteer experience to advocate for all students and ensure the community is engaged and informed of the district’s progress and challenges.
Born and raised in King of Prussia, PA, Mr. Rossi and his family moved to Cherry Hill in 2008 because of the excellent reputation of the school system. His two oldest children have graduated from the Cherry Hill public schools and his youngest is currently at Sharp Elementary School. He and his family are proud members of Nafshenu, a Jewish community in Cherry Hill. During his free time, Mr. Rossi enjoys golfing, fishing, camping in the Pine Barrens and spending time with his extended family in Connecticut.
