Kathy Judge

Kathy Judge was reelected to the Board in November 2015 to begin her eighth year on the Board of Education. Her most recent Board appointment was as President from January 2013-January 2015. Prior to that, Mrs. Judge served as Board Vice President from April 2011-January 2013. Mrs. Judge has served on all Board committees during her tenure: Curriculum & Instruction, Business & Facilities, Strategic Planning, Human Resources and Policy & Legislation (previous chair). She has served as a Camden County Educational Services Commission Board of Directors member since 2011, and has been Vice President of the Garden State Coalition of Schools since 2012. Mrs. Judge also has served the New Jersey School Board Association as a trainer for new Board members since 2014 and on the NJSBA’s Legislative Committee as an alternate for Camden County since 2014.

Mrs. Judge has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University. Mrs. Judge’s professional experience includes positions at the University of Michigan Medical Center, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Cooper University Hospital. Her final position at Cooper was in the School of Cardiovascular Perfusion as Program Coordinator and Bursar for Financial Aid for Allied Health Education.

Mrs. Judge served as PTA president at Bret Harte Elementary School for the 2005-2006 school year. Over the years, she participated in numerous activities at her children’s schools: Bret Harte, Beck Middle School and Cherry Hill High School East. She has participated in Project Graduation for graduating high school students during the past eight years. Mrs. Judge also participates in the Sunday morning education program for children at Christ Our Light Catholic Church.

Mrs. Judge and her husband, Tom, moved to Cherry Hill in 1999 because of the excellent reputation of the school system. Their daughter, Dakota, graduated from Cherry Hill East in 2013 and is a junior at Rider University. Their son, Dylan, is in his senior year at East. In her spare time, Mrs. Judge gardens, attends yoga and Pilates classes, walks in the neighborhood and participated in her first 5K in May 2015.
