Candi Cummings is a Cherry Hill parent and longtime advocate for public education. Mrs. Cummings was elected to the Cherry Hill Board of Education in 2026.

Mrs. Cummings has spent more than a decade engaged in Cherry Hill Public Schools, gaining broad experience working with district leadership, educators, and families. Her background includes volunteer service in school and at the district level, where she collaborated across school communities and developed a strong understanding of district operations, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.

As a school board member, Mrs. Cummings is focused on academic excellence for all students, responsible governance, and strong partnerships with families and the community. Her priorities include transparent decision-making, data-informed policy, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring that each student is supported in a safe, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment.

Mrs. Cummings has participated in district strategic planning efforts, policy discussions, and state-level advocacy related to school funding and student success. She brings a collaborative, thoughtful approach to her board service and is committed to upholding the public trust. Mrs. Cummings resides in the Old Orchard neighborhood with her husband, two children, and their dog.
