Gina Winters

Gina Winters has been a member of the Board since August 2022 and was re-elected to serve a second term in November 2025.  As chair of the Curriculum and Instruction committee, she has focused on improving academic achievement for all students. Under her leadership, the committee collaborated with district administration on preschool expansion, high impact tutoring, high school math pathways, AP expansion, and the implementation of new curricula for math and ELA at the elementary level.

Mrs. Winters earned her Master’s degree in Public Policy (MPP) from Rutgers University, where her primary research interest was education policy.  Upon graduating, she served as a nonpartisan staff member for the New Jersey State Legislature.  She currently works for the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University, collecting data on Philadelphia's public preschool program.

As a Cherry Hill resident for more than twenty years and a parent of three children in the district, Mrs. Winters is personally invested in making our schools the best they can be for all students in our community.  She enjoys volunteering as a Girl Scout leader for the most wonderful troop of teenagers, reading as many books as she possibly can, and singing her heart out at church every Sunday.
