      2023-2024 Enrollment for Typical Student 

       

      The Cherry Hill School District will again be offering preschool inclusion classes during the 2023-2024 school year for Cherry Hill residents.  The Inclusion Program began 24 years ago in an effort to provide our population of children with special needs the opportunity to be educated in the least restrictive environment alongside their typically developing peers.  The classes will be held at the Malberg Early Childhood Center.  

      We offer a full day program Monday through Friday. Children must be three (3) or four (4) on or before October 1, 2023. There is currently a $2,500.00 charge for the school year ($250.00 per month).  

      Transportation will be provided for eligible students based on district policy.

      The enrollment application period has closed. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available spots, a selection process will occur to determine entry into the program.  Families will be notified of their application status by mail sent no later than June 5, 2023.  Please do NOT call Malberg ECC to inquire about status. 

      Those offered enrollment at Malberg will receive an Enrollment Notification Form and Tuition Contract. Families will return the Enrollment Notification Form, Tuition Contract, and $30.00 deposit to Estelle V. Malberg Early Childhood Center by 3:30 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023.  Failure to return the documents by the deadline shall constitute a declination of enrollment. (Mailed documents must be postmarked by June 12, 2023). When school personnel receive the Enrollment Notification Form and Tuition Contract, placement will be assigned and registration information will be provided. Applicants not initially offered admission will receive written notification and be placed on a waitlist.

    • Tuition Students

      The monthly tuition fee is $250.00 (total of $2,500.00/year).  If not using the PaySchools online app, all checks or money orders should be mailed (with your child’s name on the “notes” section) to the Arthur Lewis Administration (formerly Malberg) building at 45 Ranoldo Terrace, Cherry Hill NJ 08034, ATTN Mindy Kegal by the 15th of every month, September to May!  There is a $15.00 late fee posted after the 18th of the month, if it has not been received.

    • Absentee Hotline

       

      If your child is absent from school, you will receive an automated attendance call to all available numbers and email addresses. We encourage you to call the Absentee Hotline, 856-429-7283, and press 1 or email Colleen Thompson, as early as possible. If we receive the call early enough, we can stop the call from going out, however, please understand that there is still the possibility you will receive a call. Thank you!

    • Parking and Student Drop Off

       

      Parking at school is limited. Parents are asked to park either in the front of the school building or on the street. We ask that you obey the posted "No Parking" signs on the street in front of the building, and the yellow curbs which also indicate no parking. Please do not block residential driveways.
