    Governor's School 2025 Application

    The Governor's School Summer 2025 program is now open for nominations.  There are two highly competitive programs for juniors who are in the top 5% of their class, and who are interested in the field of science, math, technology and engineering.  The Governor's School in the Sciences will be held at Drew University from July 6-July 26, 2025 and the Governor's School of Engineering and Technology will be held at Rutgers University School of Engineering from July 5-July 25, 2025. 

    Please note that West will only be able to nominate one junior for each program.  If you are interested in being nominated, you must complete and submit the attached interest form to me no later than Tuesday, December 10, 2024 by 2:30 pm.

    The New Jersey Scholars Program

    Juniors:
     
    The New Jersey Scholars Program is now accepting nominations for the summer 2025 academic program held at the Lawrenceville School, in Lawrenceville, NJ.  The free, residential program will be held from June 29, 2025-August 1, 2025.  Accepted students will participate in a diverse, inclusive learning environment, which sharpens critical thinking, writing and research skills.  Students will attend lectures, participate in sports activities, and attend field trips.  Please visit www.newjerseyscholarsprogram.org for more information on the program.  
     
    Interested students should submit the attached, completed interest form NJscholars.2025.doc to Mrs. Snowden in Guidance (csnowden@chclc.orgno later than December 12, 2024 at 2:30 pm. You must include a list of extracurricular activities and a short (one page) essay explaining why you want to attend the NJ Scholars Program.

    High School Plus at Camden County College

    YOUR CHILD CAN EARN COLLEGE CREDITS THIS YEAR!

    Cherry Hill HS West has partnered with Camden County College to offer Camden County College’s High School Plus (Dual Credit) program right here at during the 2024/2025 school year. This program allows your child to earn college credits in at least one of their current high school classes and potentially more for $150 per course.

    Registration Deadline: Students are required to complete the dual credit form by February 28, 2025. Students that do not register before February 28 will not be eligible to receive dual credit this year.

    The Advanced Placement Program

    The AP Program provides students with the opportunity to take college level courses while still in high school.
