2017 Promising Practice for The Great Kindness Challenge
Each year, as part of the Schools of Character program, Character.org recognizes educators in the United States and elsewhere who have implemented unique, specific, and effective character education strategies. This year ARK was recognized with a 2017 National Promising Practices award for our participation in The Great Kindness Challenge. During the week of January 23, 2017 ARK students performed 4.352 kind acts and raised $486.87 to help build a school and kindness center in Quetta, Pakistan.

A. Russell Knight designated a 2017 National School of Character
We are excited to announce that A. Russell Knight Elementary has been designated a 2017 National School of Character by character.org! Knight is among 83 schools from 21 states named a 2017 National School of Character. Through an in-depth and rigorous evaluation process, Knight was found to be an exemplary model of character development. Character.org will honor the 2017 designated schools and districts at its 24th National Forum on Character Education to be held the weekend of October 20-21, 2017, in Arlington, VA.

Community Virtual Town Hall Set for Tuesday, January 19, 2021
Community members are invited to attend the Cherry Hill Public Schools' next Virtual Town Hall on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 7-8:30 pm. The Town Hall will be an open discussion on school configuration, including grade level groupings and “sending schools,” meaning which addresses are assigned to which schools.
We welcome community questions and input. Panelists will address live questions/comments alternately with questions/comments submitted in advance through our question portal. The question portal will be open until noon on January 19.
